Umauma Bridge on Highway 19 in Hamakua has reopened, Hawaii County Civil Defense and police reported Thursday morning.
The temporary bridge was reopened about 6 a.m., Civil Defense said. The bridge was closed last week because of high water levels following heavy rain in East Hawaii, according to Civil Defense.
